Elyssa Warkentin is a Canadian writer, editor, and researcher. She received a PhD in Victorian literature in 2007 from the University of Alberta. After teaching at Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey) and the University of Calgary’s Doha campus (Qatar), she settled in her hometown of Winnipeg with her two sons. She works in research admin at the University of Manitoba. Her interests include queer literature and theory, late-Victorian crime fiction, and creative writing.
